The boys and I visited Little Rock on Saturday and had a good time @ the zoo and Museum of Discovery with Linda and baby Clara. No batteries in the camera though, so I can't prove it...
Sunday, we drove out to Collierville to play at Johnson Park. We've gone to the sprinkler park there several times, but this time we focused on the playground. I got some great photos of the boys, as you can see. They are such great brothers even though that means they have some "tense moments."
Jackson's homework today was to write a story with his spelling words (he could have just written them 3 times each, but his teacher bribed them to do the story). Here's what he came up with (spelling words in bold)-
The guy who told a lie
The guy told a lie while he ate a pie and he was wearing a tie at night. He was high above the sky. He's awake at night. The guy wore his tie tight. He's eight years old. He said right. He does not like light. The sun was bright. He laughs a lot. He laughs with all his might.
I asked why he used the sentence "He's awake at night." since it does not include a spelling word. Jackson replied "because he's nocturnal." Well, duh.
