Jackson's football room

Over the last couple of weeks, I've been working on upgrading Jackson's room. Not sure it will ever be just right, but he likes it!

Jackson's essay (latitude and longitude)

I am going to visit Minneapolis, Minnesota. Minneapolis, Minnesota is located at 45 degrees N latitdude (sic) and 93 degrees W longitude. I want to visit Minneapolis, Minnesota because I want to see there (sic) football team the Minnesota Vikings beat a team I don't like. About everybody exept (sic) the Saints, Vikings and the Titans. Everybody else I don't like.

**Jackson made a 90% because he lost points for grammar.** Not perfect but I love it (and him)!

Halloween 2010

The boys were ready to head to Zoo Boo @ the Memphis Zoo Friday night. We met some friends and had a good time til the cold sent us home.

Austin and Emily visited from Laurel and we all went the game @ the Liberty Bowl. It was a perfect day for football- especially since we won!!

brother time

Sometimes the boys play together as though they are the only people on earth. Sunday after church, they snuck out the back door and headed to the trampoline. I love watching them enjoy each other like that. The weather has been great for playing outside the last couple of weeks.

Grandparents Day wkd in Mississippi

We drove down to south Mississippi to hang out the 2nd weekend in Sept. We stayed at Malins and played, visited Pa, and went to a USM game too. The boys had a good time.

Labor Day Wkd fun

On Sunday we went to Members' Night at the zoo.




The next morning (Labor Day) we went to the Delta Fair w/ the Parkers.

We usually dress very casual for church, but this day the boys dressed up a little. This is one of my fave pictures of them acting like brothers.

Back to School

Jackson headed to 3rd grade yesterday while Wilson began 4k. They both have great schools, classes and teachers and I'm very thankful for this!!

Wilson's birthday party

Saturday afternoon the 17th, we had a bunch of friends over to celebrate Wilson's birthday. We had a great time playing inside and out and making a mess.

Wilson turns 4!

On July 14, Wilson turned 4. He was SOOOO excited about his birthday. He had special treats at school with his friends and we went to church that night. Once home, I let him open one present- a Batman car. (dates on photos are incorrect)

summer fun in July

On July 10th, we spent the day downtown with our friends LaToya, Bryson and Myles. First we visited the underground RR house in north Memphis, then went over to Mudd Island River Park. Lastly, we took a trolley ride around downtown and had ice cream.



The following day, Ryley came over to play with us for a while. He and Wilson did some "boxing"!

July 4 trip to Paris Landing

This year we stayed @ the Paris Landing State Park hotel which had a pool the boys enjoyed. We also enjoyed visiting our friends out there.

Last night we were visited by a sweet family from our church. They have THREE young boys, and we managed to get a pic of 2 of them with Jackson and Wilson. The boys had a good time and the house was still standing after.

Wilson had to be creative to find things to do while Jackson participated in his classes. Jackson enjoyed archery, climbing, BB guns, boating and swimming. My job was to cheer and be proud (and attempt to get them clean daily).
